Garden Zoom Background
We’re bringing you a Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden Zoom background gallery to kick off National Public Gardens Week. Why not use a custom virtual Zoom background in your next meeting to show your love of gardens and to highlight the importance of gardens in our lives.
Our favorite way to celebrate National Public Gardens Weeks is, of course, with an in-person visit from you to our Garden, but since that isn’t possible right now, we’re bringing the Garden to you. By using a selection from our Zoom background gallery, you can help support us! We, along with other gardens around the country who are part of the American Public Gardens Association, raise awareness about the importance of gardens during National Public Gardens Week. A virtual background highlighting your favorite botanical garden connects you and all your Zoom attendees to peaceful green space and nature.
Pretend you are a bee and get as closes to these beautiful blooming beauties as you want without any fear of your allergies acting from spring pollen. By raising awareness about gardens, you’ll be reminding people that greenspaces and gardens are indispensable.
Choose your favorite flower — a peony, no an iris! Show off springtime blooms from the Cochrane Rose Garden, move to a quiet lush destination in Flager Garden, or maybe even pretend to be a bee!
Bring a sense of peace, beauty and calm to your next work meeting while showing solidarity for your local non-profit botanical garden. We would consider it a great honor if you would celebrate National Public Gardens Week with us by getting up close and personal to the blooms. Our mission is connecting people and plants to improve our community; this is just one tiny way you can help. And if you want to see what other botanical gardens are doing, check out the #OurGardensYourHome hashtag that gardens nationwide have been using to sharing with you during the COVID-19 closure.
If you’d like to support other local Richmond attractions, see the full spectrum of #RVA Zoom backgrounds provided by Richmond Region Tourism. Ride a roller coaster at King’s Dominion, float down the James River or get up close with the grit of mountain bikers in Pocahontas State Park.
