Secret Lives of Bugs! Have you ever wondered what a baby dragonfly looks like? Or where butterflies go in the rain? Visit Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden to learn the answers to these questions and more, as we reveal the secret lives of bugs!
The Garden features an educational display of live insects and other invertebrates, highlighting the fascinating life details of critters found in your yard, neighborhood, or local park. You’ll learn about what they eat, where they live, and what you can do at home to create a thriving habitat—not just for bugs—but for the entire web of life. Staff and volunteers will be showcasing an ever-changing array of native species, in all stages of life. Drop by from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to get an up-close and personal introduction to some of our weird and wonderful native bugs!
