About the Instructor

Hi! I’m Elise! I’m wildly enthusiastic about indoor plants, pollinators, and sustainable gardening. I have degrees in Horticulture and Plant Science (PPWS) from Virginia Tech and worked at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden for three years before transitioning to plant science in lab settings. I have five years’ experience in beekeeping and love convincing people why they’re awesome. Come join me for a class!
