Making Paper
from Plant Fibers
Be creative and explore making paper from garden plants, weeds, trees and grasses. Embellish with petals, seeds and scraps of fabric. Experience the process from start to finish; assembling equipment, processing plant fibers, preparing the pulp and pouring and drying the paper. Crafters can repeat the process at home and teachers can use it in the classroom. Projects for the class are: creating a notebook, small journal, photo album, ornaments and seed cards.
