Executive Chef Anne Maury Haapala demonstrates how to re-imagine your favorite indulgent dishes to make them healthier, but still satisfying.  She’ll show you that healthy can still be delicious and flavorful and even how to create fake-out takeout.  Anne’s hour and a half demonstration is followed by a delectable lunch featuring some of the recipes discussed.

Chef Anne Maury Haapala

Chef Anne is the Executive Chef for the Garden’s caterer, Meriwether Godsey.  She has a degree in hospitality and tourism from Virginia Tech and studied Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina.
