HERBALISM 101
ROOTS, BARKS AND RESINS

This interactive lecture explores the majesty of roots, barks and resins of medicinal plants to create beneficial soaks, oils and salves using both fresh and dried plants. We will taste and discuss tips and tricks to grow, respectfully harvest and utilize hardy plant materials in Autumn. This workshop is hands-on. Together we will formulate an herbal remedy and each participant will be able to take a container home with them. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how to work with robust and sturdy materials to help stay well through the winter months.

Our Garden continues to follow CDC recommendations and state guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Properly worn masks are strongly encouraged for indoor class participants regardless of vaccination status. The Garden reserves the right to implement additional safety measures. Any updates will be communicated prior to class, if possible.
