Happy Feet!

Does the title of this workshop describe your feet? Most people only notice their feet when there is some pain or discomfort involved. Whether you work on your feet or not, this workshop will teach you gentle functional movement exercises, mindfulness and imagery techniques to improve posture and function. Including self-massage, and ball rolling techniques. The result will be- Happy Feet!

Fees: Member $25, Non-Member $30

Event Details

Students need to be able to get down on the floor and get back up. Wear fitted clothing suitable for gentle exercise, ball rolling and self-massage. Bring a yoga mat and 2 large bath or beach towels, and a bottle of water. Dress in active clothing that covers the skin and is not baggy, wear your comfortable walking shoes. If the weather allows, we will take a short walk in the upper gardens.

Rie Monique CherieAbout the Instructor

Rie Monique Cherie is a Certified Yoga Therapist, a Franklin Method Educator and a Tai Chi 5 Elements Form Instructor who has over 20 years of one-on-one and group instruction. She believes learning about the body and the self is a first step in self-care and humanity and specializes in holistic wellness practices including Franklin Method, Tai Chi, and Yoga. She looks forward to helping you towards a better life experience.
