During the past few months, kitchen gardens have become all the rage as interest in self-sufficiency and growing your own food has increased. In this online class, Mark Ragland helps you maintain your kitchen garden through harvest time, planting for fall cool weather crops and cleaning your garden out for winter. Tips on planning your garden for next year are included.

About the instructor

Mark Ragland is past chairman of the VA Commonwealth Unit of the Herb Society of America, an avid photographer, lifelong traveler and self-proclaimed foodie.  Gardening since age 12, the gardens at his home in southern Virginia were featured on PBS and in Country Gardens. He presents regularly across Virginia on such topics as herbs, vegetables, garden design, photography and tea.
