ALL ABOUT
Perennials

Learn how to design, select, plant and care for perennial plants in a year-round garden. Correct selection of plants is as important as care in creating a successful environment. Learn which plants thrive in the Richmond area and which are more challenging. The course covers perennial identification, soil preferences, how to plant and care according to the growth habit of plants. Christie Barry will emphasize which perennials also offer winter interest in the garden.

Our Garden continues to follow CDC recommendations and state guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Properly worn masks are strongly encouraged for indoor class participants regardless of vaccination status. The Garden reserves the right to implement additional safety measures. Any updates will be communicated prior to class, if possible.
