Stunning Grasses Add Whimsy to the Conservatory

Recently, we’ve talked quite a bit about why ornamental and native grasses are good for nature and the environment. We shared our plans with you for our plantings in front of the Conservatory at the Ornamental Grass Garden.  And even vetted the best grasses to plant in our area, so you can use them in your own yard. ….In case you missed it: Pink Muhlygrass (Muhlenbergia capillaris), Panicum virgatum ‘Northwind’, and Prairie Dropseed (Sporobolus herterolepis). But have you seen them in person? They are stunning. Astoundingly beautiful even….and so much more interesting then turf!
