Rick Calio, Technical Project Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, volunteered with his colleagues at the Ginter Community Garden Kitchen through the Richmond Fed’s Summer of Service initiative. He was interested to learn about the local organizations that source food from the garden, such as the Meals on Wheels program, which he had previously volunteered with through the Richmond Fed.
