She grew up in the Short Pump area and has always had a love for the great outdoors. Some of her work experience includes conducting historical and environmental programs, caring for various reptiles and amphibians, and conducting field research on turtles and birds. Her interests include embroidery, book collecting, camping, hiking, fishing, and history.
