Abstracted Winter Landscapes
AND STILL LIFES

Create rich vignettes loaded with winter colors and layered shapes. View a variety of landscape and still life works for compositional ideas, then make multiple sketches before choosing one or two to fully develop. Work in a variety of media including charcoal, colored pencil, watercolor, and drawing pens. Feel free to bring your own images for inspiration and come ready to experiment with color layering, patterns and textures.

Fees: Member $50, Non-Member $60

Dana DuMontMeet the instructor

In addition to being a studio artist, Dana DuMont is an art teacher and educational consultant with a penchant for travel and nature. Her varied works regularly incorporate recycled, donated and found items, and her integrated arts curriculum design and teaching encourages creative risk-taking, perseverance, humor, reflection, and environmental stewardship.
