MAKER NIGHT
NATURE-INSPIRED POLYMER CLAY EARRINGS

In this fun maker night, you’ll learn the basics of making polymer clay earrings with Sarah Schultz of Fragment Jewelry Co. We’ll mix, texture, shape, bake and assemble our polymer clay pieces to create a lovely pair of nature-inspired earrings you can wear when you leave! You will be able to choose from a wide variety of clay cutters in all kinds of botanical and animal shapes. While your earrings bake, enjoy a glass of Virginia-made White or Rosé wine paired perfectly with a delicious cheese plate by the Garden’s in-house caterers, Restaurant Associates. This workshop is 21+ only. No prior crafting experience is required.

About the Instructor

Having studied art in undergraduate school, Sarah Schultz applied past favorites in design principle and color theory to working with polymer clay in 2020. The calming and relaxing work, which Sarah turned to as a therapeutic activity during the worldwide tumult of that year, quickly turned into a way to feel grounded, keep connected, and supply wearable art locally. With the support of friends, family, and community, Fragment Jewelry Co. has become a name well-known for Sarah’s handmade earrings, bracelets, necklaces, holiday ornaments, croc charms, and more. You may have seen Sarah’s bright, bold, and quirky jewelry and accessories in Stir Crazy, Gold Lion Cafe, and The Holiday Market by Studio Two Three, as well as online @fragmentjewelryco
