COME BACK TO YOUR SENSES:
Learning to Communicate with Nature

Explore the various ways we physically bond with our plants by opening one’s awareness to them. In this workshop, explore the garden through the mindfulness of the senses, sight, hearing, touch, temperature and feeling the textures of the ground and plants. Come dressed for the weather and walking in the Garden. Bring a water bottle. This is an outdoor workshop. Rain date: Sunday, October 23, 9:30 – 11:30 am.

Our Garden continues to follow CDC recommendations and state guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Properly worn masks are strongly encouraged for indoor class participants regardless of vaccination status. The Garden reserves the right to implement additional safety measures. Any updates will be communicated prior to class, if possible.

About the Instructor

Rie Monique Cherie is a Certified Yoga Therapist, a Franklin Method Educator and a Tai Chi 5 Elements Form Instructor who has over 20 years of one-on-one and group instruction. She believes learning about the body and the self is a first step in self-care and humanity and specializes in holistic wellness practices including Franklin Method, Tai Chi, and Yoga. She looks forward to helping you towards a better life experience.
