VINE TO GLASS
Italy Meets Virginia
with Luca Paschina
Italian winemaker Gianni Zonin saw the potential in this land and established Barboursville Vineyards in 1976. The winery is now sought after for Virginia benchmarks like Viognier and Cabernet Franc as well as classic Italian varietals. Join us for an evening of Italia in Virginia. Over a progression of five wines – Prosecco, Vermentino, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Passito – with third-generation Italian-American sommelier Jason Tesauro, we’ll explore the experimentations, cultivations, and observations that have driven Barboursville and Virginia to the fore. Fee includes complimentary wine glass and 5 wine samples, each accompanied by an expertly paired themed small plate.
