ADVANCED WATERCOLOR
WORKSHOP

Williamsburg-based botanical artist Juliet Kirby leads this four-day watercolor workshop for advanced botanical artists and certificate students working on their final portfolio. Participants bring a plant of their own choosing. This course continues to emphasize composition, accuracy, and direction of light. Students provide materials: View list of recommended materials.

Our Garden continues to follow CDC recommendations and state guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Properly worn masks are required for indoor class participants regardless of vaccination status. Non-vaccinated participants are also required to wear masks when outdoors and unable to maintain 6 feet of social distancing. The Garden reserves the right to implement additional safety measures. Any updates will be communicated prior to class, if possible.

About the Instructor

Juliet Kirby studied at the Byam Shaw School of Fine Art and the Central School of Art in London and received her Certificate in Botanical Art from the New York Botanical Garden in New York.
