Join Executive Chef Anne Maury Haapala in this virtual culinary class showcasing the garden’s delicious fruits and vegetables.  Learn Anne’s tips and tricks as she demonstrates how to utilize end of summer produce in gorgeous salads along with how to create some quick and easy homemade dressings.

Recipes featured in this class:

  • Cucumber, corn and watermelon salad
  • Roasted beet and citrus salad
  • Triple C Salad: chickpeas, carrots and cumin

Chef Anne is the Executive Chef for the Garden’s caterer, Meriwether-Godsey.  She has a degree in hospitality and tourism from Virginia Tech and studied Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina.
