Daffodil Day: The British are Coming

Join Garden Club of Virginia members and fellow daffodil enthusiasts for Daffodil Day at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. Join Garden Club of Virginia members and fellow daffodil enthusiasts at the 88th annual Daffodil Day. This event has become one of the nation’s largest daffodil shows featuring award-winning daffodil specimens, spectacular floral arrangements and eye-catching photography. This year’s theme, “The British are Coming!,” is a prelude to an upcoming GCV sponsored flower demonstration featuring famed London-based floral designer Paula Pryke that will take place May 12, 2022, at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture. Hosted by the Garden Club of Virginia and the American Daffodil Society.

A parade of blooms unfurls as the weather warms: daffodils, tulips, peonies, roses and many more. Events throughout the season include Butterflies LIVE!, Mother’s Day, the Spring Plant Sale, and activities in the Children’s Garden.
